I can’t believe Miranda and Ben’s wedding day has come and gone! It doesn’t feel like all that long ago that we were walked around JMU taking engagement photos– the place where they both went to college AND where Ben proposed — all the heart eyes for these two, honestly. If you missed their JMU engagement session, you can check it out here!
As soon as I met Miranda and Ben it really just felt like we “clicked”. I love meeting couples that end up as good friends and these two were just the sweetest to get to know. This was no exception to their family and friends during their wedding day, either. Their bridal party had the absolute sweetest people and getting to know all of them + the wedding guests was so much fun.
Both the first look shared between Miranda and Ben and Miranda and her father brought tears to my eyes. It’s emotional moments like that that make this job so incredibly rewarding. Being able to capture that true and genuine emotion is something I definitely don’t take for granted.
I loved that these two were just up for anything, but especially sunset portraits. Miranda and Ben were so willing to walk around their venue for a little while capturing more portraits of them as a married couple (and pet some cows with their Granny, which was just absolutely adorable).
A note to the couple:
Miranda and Ben, thank you so much for being such a wonderful couple to work with! Your wedding day was full of such joy and love. I had such a fun time choosing photos for your sneak peek and am too excited to share this blog post with you! Here’s to you, friends. Enjoy your week in Cancun! <3
