Samantha and Michael’s wedding at Melrose Caverns yesterday held for an absolutely perfect day! It was a really exciting day since I’ve never photographed a wedding at Melrose before, but I had a little practice since we captured their engagement photos there back in the Fall of 2018. If you missed their Melrose Caverns engagement session, you can check it out here!
Samantha and Michael’s day was extremely special — the way their friends + family were so excited to celebrate made ME excited. I loved the energy that everyone brought during the course of the day. Their bridal party was especially helpful in bringing so much excitement and love.
As usual, sunset photos are my favorite time of a wedding day. This really gives a couple a chance to sneak away from their friends + family for a few moments and just breathe their day in. Sam and Michael’s sunset portraits were no exception to that. They were both completely up for running, walking through thorn bushes, and doing all the things in order to get the shots that would come to mind. It makes me feel so lucky to know that I have couples completely willing to do whatever for their photos, because they trust me and the videography team (who were AWESOME, by the way. Shameless shoutout to Aerial Illustrations for just being a great team to work with).
A note to the couple:
Sam and Michael, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day! I had such a great time capturing your wedding from beginning to end and cannot wait to show you more photos. Until your final gallery is ready, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
