I had the honor of photographing Molly and Kevin during their engagement session and Now during their wedding day! It was such a pleasure reconnecting with these two and their favorite people during their beautiful June wedding day.

Molly wore TWO (!!!) beautiful sleek dresses which just added to the classic and elegant vibe of their entire day. Complete with a Country Roads ending, paying a homage to Molly’s home, the crowd was electric and the vibes were immaculate. I will forever be reflecting on such a sweet day for a beautiful couple. Congrats, M&K!!!

About the Couple

Molly and Kevin met in 2019 in DC, a couple months before the pandemic. As circles got smaller and the world was really changing, they clung to one another over pandemic-friendly activities (Uber-eats and tv on the couch, obviously). It makes me so happy to think about how Molly and Kevin really used this time to their benefit and to get to know one another through a really challenging time.

About the Venue:

The Alexandrian Hotel in Alexandria, VA holds a rich history that reflects the charm and significance of the city it resides in. Originally built in the early 19th century, the hotel first opened its doors in 1805 under the name “The Marshall House.” Throughout its existence, it witnessed significant events such as the Civil War, during which it served as a military hospital and later as the headquarters for Union General Irvin McDowell. Over the years, the hotel went through several transformations and renovations, blending its historic roots with contemporary elegance. Today, The Alexandrian Hotel stands as a cherished landmark, offering guests a unique blend of historical ambiance and modern comfort, reminding visitors of the fascinating past that shaped Alexandria’s character.
