Kasey and Jonathan’s wedding day at The Barn at Walnut Grove was the PERFECT day! The weather held up and wasn’t too humid (and for a Virginia summer that’s always good) and the entire day was just a blast.
I love that these two are unapologetically themselves. They had the cutest video-game themed koozies and a taco-bar (which is JUST THE BEST THING EVER and super different from the usual wedding food. Future couples: it. was. amazing. *hint hint* 😉 )
One thing that really made my emotions hit were the heartfelt speeches given by each member of the bridal party, the bride and groom, and also a few family members. It was a great reminder that this wedding was a celebration of Kasey and Jonathan, but also the supportive people that been with them through their relationship journey over the last few years.
A note to the bride and groom:
Thank you so much for asking me to photograph such a special day for you two! I had such a wonderful time actually getting to know you both and your friends + family and loved getting to know you two! I hate that you’re so far away in California but hey, maybe that gives me a reason to fly out there someday (do you want your wedding photos hand-delivered in CA? I can make that happen :P) Enjoy your sneak peek, you two! Your final gallery is on it’s way to you sometime soon!
