Morgan and Chuck’s wedding at the Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton, VA was such a wonderful day! I knew when I had so much fun during their engagement session in Washington, D.C. that their wedding would be even more of a blast — I was right. Their day was absolutely gorgeous — from the decorations, the weather, and of course, the bride. Morgan was a seriously STUNNING bride and was just an absolute joy to work with, along with Chuck and their wedding party. ** special shoutout to their bridal party for being absolutely wonderful to work with! Fun bridal parties make formals go so much smoother, and these folks were willing to do anything I asked of them.

One of my favorite moments of the day was getting to capture Morgan’s bridesmaids & mother pray over her. There’s something that speaks volumes about the love of God that signifies marriage, but also friendship. I felt so blessed to be able to capture such an intimate moment between Morgan and her favorite ladies. What a beautiful testament to the love Jesus has for us.

The reception was an absolute blast and I wasn’t even on the dance floor, so I cannot imagine the fun happening right in the midst of the dancing. It’s incredibly difficult to not dance to Cotton Eyed Joe and the Cupid Shuffle at every wedding, but honestly from now on I’m making it a thing. Future couples, you’re now getting a photographer with awkward-to-decent dance moves (depending on how much rosé I consume).

Thank you for the absolute wonderful honor to be the one that captured your special day. From beginning to end, I found it almost impossible not to smile. You two are an absolute WONDERFUL couple to work with and I am so happy we connected. Here’s to the first few days of marriage and spending your honeymoon in MEXICO! Cheers ?
