I am so excited to share some images from Ashley and Adam’s Hooversville, PA wedding held at The Farm on the Ridge! Their rustic, sunflower-themed wedding had the absolute perfect weather at the perfect venue. These two had such a memorable engagement session with me so I couldn’t wait for their wedding — in case you’d like to view their engagement session taken all the way back in October, you can view it here!
One thing I knew about Adam and Ashley were their humorous personalities, especially when talking to each other. They were so willing to be silly and also get formal pictures that it basically made them the perfect couple. Every moment leading up to their day I was excited to be with them because there’s nothing better than a couple that loves each other, encourages you as a photographer, and genuinely supports you as a creative business owner. Even as two separate people, they both radiate love, warmth, and encouragement. Ever since they asked me to be their wedding photographer back in August 2017, I was so excited to be a part of their special day.

How have I never done a first look before until Adam and Ashley’s special day?! I didn’t even realize it, but these two were my “first” first-look couple. And let me tell ya, it had me in tears behind the camera. Adam’s smile. Ashley’s grin. It was all so monumental and made me fall in love with capturing that special moment before a bride walks down the aisle.
One of the most monumental moments of their day was when Ashley, Adam, and multiple family members visited Ashley’s grandma at a local nursing home. You can tell how closely Ashley puts her family to her heart, and I know that the memory of visiting her grandmother on her wedding day is something Ashley will remember forever.

You have no idea how much you have meant to me as a couple the last few months. It has been an honor being able to walk alongside both of you as you start the process of becoming man and wife. Thank you for reminding me how blessed I am to be able to do this job. It’s couples like you that make this the best job in the world.
