I think Morgan and Chuck couldn’t have made my 4AM alarm better. I spent the morning with these two walking around the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. and Old Town Alexandria capturing their engagement photos, and let me tell you, it was such a fun time. I didn’t even feel like I got less sleep than usual (it was probably the Starbucks though, let’s be honest).
This past Sunday, one of my goals for 2019 came TRUE! Myself, along with Sierra McCray and her intern Allison, successfully planned and executed a styled shoot at the Blackburn Inn in Staunton, VA. It was such a fun planning process to be able to put together such a large project, but I couldn’t be happier with the results! I am oh-so-blessed to have photographer friends that share passionate visions of how to get out of the slow-season slump and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
A huge thanks to Sierra and Allison for being the backbone of this project — it’s so important to get together with a group of ladies that understand your vision and will do anything to make it happen. They spent countless hours communicating with vendors, emailing each other to make sure all details were in place, and just being darn awesome when it came to shooting during day-of coordination.
I’m so excited to share some sneak peeks from this special day — keep scrolling for some sparkly images!
Special thanks to the following vendors that made this day possible! We couldn’t have done any of this without the help of you all!
