They ran, they cuddled, they conquered. <— a phrase I’d use to describe my evening with Clara and Iain. My GOODNESS – I am completely obsessed with these two and their vigor for a life well-lived and loved.
There’s something about sunsets, pizza, and two kindhearted (new!) friends that make an engagement session 10x better. I met Clara and Iain at one of their favorite spots in Harrisonburg – this location is special to them, both as individuals and as a couple. When lots of time and prayer (and sunrises) are spent in one location, you know it’s a good one. 🙂
We then traveled to a friend’s farm and it had a complete 360 degree view of the mountains. Needless to say, Clara and Iain picked the best locations and I now feel the need to consult them on all future session locations – it’s fine, I’m fine.
Amongst the thissels, cow manure, and crazy prompts that (almost) put them in danger, they absolutely rocked their session and I am SO excited to showcase a few images from it. I’m definitely looking forward to their special day in October and will most likely be counting down the days until their wedding gets here – here’s to a beautiful October wedding (and more pizza dates in the future!)
Clara & Iain,
Thank you so much for allowing me into this beautiful journey. I love your vulnerability, openness, and willingness to learn (while having fun along the way!) I’m truly so grateful for our paths crossing and cannot wait to capture one of the most important journeys as a couple! Enjoy the sneak peek of your engagement sessionÂ
