Amy and Jeff’s Johnstown, PA wedding was full of laughter, windy (but gorgeous) weather, and wicked dance moves. Their ceremony, held at Maple Spring Church of the Brethren was beautiful — ** disclaimer: if I ever photograph your wedding I will be crying behind the camera. It’s inevitable. I love marriage.

There’s something about ceremonies bringing two people close together that makes me tear up so quickly. Amy and Jeff had a special communion as husband and wife, as well as a song dedicated to them braiding three chords — signifying marriage, and how it takes you, your spouse, and God to be intertwined altogether for marriage to work. My favorite bible verse shared at their wedding was Ecclesiastes 4:12, “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.”

Their reception was held at the Mirage Banquet Facility at the top of the Johnstown Inclined Plane. Their delicious dinner also consisted of a CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN, which was undeniably a hit by all guests. Speeches from Amy sister, Allison, and college roommate, Tristan, were emotional and beautiful. I love hearing loved ones speak so highly of a bride and groom, because you really get an inside glimpse into their kind souls. Amy’s dad also kicked off the speeches, specifically letting Jeff know he knew 3 things weren’t right about him; the Penguins, Pirates, and Steelers 😉

Since I’ve known them as a couple, Jeff and Amy have this hilarious spunk to them. Their constant witty banter, laughter, and jokes toward each other make my comedic heart so full. I love their hearts for each other and cannot wait for them to see their full gallery.

Special thanks to Maple Spring COB, The Conrad and Fisher family, Amy and Jeff’s bridal party, and everyone that made Amy and Jeff’s wedding beautiful. A special shoutout to the bridal party for taking me in as an honorary bridesmaid, inviting me on the Party Bus, and complimenting me as we figured out dog poop landmines, wind blown hair, and funny poses together.

Jeff and Amy,

thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your wedding day! I can’t believe we’ve been talking about this day since the beach 3 years ago? WHERE did the time go?! I’m honored to capture your special day and am immensely happy for you both. I hope you love the few photos I chose for your sneak peek and CANNOT WAIT to show your final gallery!! Enjoy, you two!
