Autumn Wedding at Hollin Hall in Alexandria, VA
Emily and Jeremy’s fall wedding at Hollin Hall in Alexandria, Virgina was a stunning day filled with fresh blooms, laughter, and donuts by Good Company (my favorite!)
Emily and Jeremy have a modern love story that I so admire. After meeting on Bumble in August 2019, the pair went on multiple dates the same WEEK. I LOVE that they were unapologetically drawn to each other and, still, are drawn to each other.
Jeremy is the outgoing one of the pair, while Emily is a little more quiet, and the two just balance each other out PERFECTLY. I have never met a couple that fills out each other’s
The story behind Hollin Hall (Taken from the site itself):
“Hollin Hall is a gracious Colonial Revival mansion that offers a charming and unique setting for weddings, receptions, parties and rehearsal dinners. Hollin Hall can accommodate 150 people for a stand-up reception and 80-90 people seated. It features four separate rooms, a formal entry hall, and modern kitchen.
While George Mason built Gunston Hall for himself, he constructed a house named Hollin Hall after a family home in Yorkshire, England, for his son Thomson, in 1792.
The estate passed through several owners before its purchase in 1913 by Wilson, a director of the North American Company, suppliers of locks and docks for the Panama Canal and Potomac Electric Power Company, and president of the Capitol Traction Company which operated Washington’s electric street cars.”
