Sally and Alfonso’s wedding was one for the BOOKS. Their Summer DC Wedding day began at Saint Mary Mother of God Catholic Church in Downtown DC. Their reception was held at Belle Haven Country Club in Alexandria.

Summer Wedding’s in DC

Sally and Alfonso met at a mutual friend’s Christmas party where they were ~intentionally~ set up by said friend! Alfonso had kept his eyes on Sally for awhile, and that Christmas party just happened to be exactly the place where they met and got together! Their careers + lives have flourished since that 2019/2020 Christmas Party, and I am so grateful for these two as they have trusted me with capturing such an exciting time.

Their wedding will prove to be one of my favorites of the year so far! One of my favorite parts of the day was spending time with S&A during their “Just Married” portraits. We had such an enjoyable time walking around DC and grabbing some portraits. Utilizing the city streets and back alleys, I grabbed some of my favorite portraits of the year so far.

Photographing Sally in her grandmother’s dress was also such a blessing! In over 6 years of wedding photography, I’ve never had a bride wear her grandmother’s dress! This was a first for me. I loved the class and uniqueness it brought to their wedding day, and it added such a touch of class to their wedding day.
