K+A’s Spring Market at Grelen Wedding

Kylia and Aaron’s Market at Grelen wedding day was nothing short of amazing! Their day was long-awaited after a year of postponements, and it was greatly worth the wait. We took their engagement session in the Fall of 2020 and it somehow feels like it wasn’t that long ago (but also SO long ago?? A combo of both?) After filling out their pre-wedding questionnaire, Kylia and Aaron maintain so much intentionality inside of answers, and dove into the deeper questions. They really strived to make their day centered around family, fun, and laughter – judging from their images, it was for sure focused around those three things.

When asking about their “spark” and love story, Aaron wrote the following: “Our first hang out was on a snow day. All schools were closed and friends from high school where meeting up in the back of Kylia’s neighborhood. We laughed and played in the snow for it seemed like forever. When it was time to go home she finally gave me her number. I was beaming with joy on the inside but played it cool (obviously). I remember going home and telling my bestfriend AJ that something felt different about her…. 8 years and 2 dogs later I think its safe to say I was right.”

Their wedding overlooked a beautiful mountainside and they were surrounded by their family and friends who cheered them alongside eight (!!!!) years together. From high school, to college, to post-college jobs and animals and careers, these two have stood the test of time and I am so thrilled to have been the one that photographed this special time in their lives.
