Fueled by equal parts coffee and Jesus, I spend my days capturing the kind of images that make you stop, smile, and ask time to slow down.

The Market at Grelen Engagement | Kylia & Aaron

I am SO excited to share some sneak peeks from Kylia and Aaron’s engagement session at The Market at Grelen this afternoon! These two were naturals in front of the camera and it was so much fun spending time with them while envisioning what their Spring wedding will be like here.   Kylia and Aaron, Thank […]

King Family Vineyards Engagement | Michaela & Zach

engagements, portraits

Oh my goodness – MICHAELA AND ZACH. Their session last evening at King Family Vineyards was one for the books. These two are naturals in front of the camera and it truly felt like I was photographing friends I’d known for years. Michaela suggested their session being held at King Family and I CANNOT BELIEVE I […]

Kents Store Wedding | Monica & Ashby

Although it wasn’t the large celebration they had intended it to be, Monica and Ashby’s wedding day was the most beautiful time, surrounded by their closest family members with the perfect Spring weather. Their first look + ceremony site were the places where we captured their engagement photos, and I felt HONORED to be included […]

Guildford Farm Wedding | Sarah & Jon

Sarah and Jonathan’s wedding day held at Guildford Farm was from a fairytale, I swear! The weather was perfect (after a slight rain delay), the bridal party was SO fun, the family & friends were kind and generous, but the COUPLE. Now, they were simply too perfect to put into words. I photographed Sarah and Jon’s […]

Kents Store Engagement Session | Monica & Ashby

Monica and Ashby’s engagement session last evening was a HOT one, but they were such troopers when walking around Ashby’s family farm! We spent a few hours together just taking in the beautifullll property and I absolutely adored getting to know about them a little more while doing so. We walked around the beautiful property […]

Granary at Valley Pike Wedding | Kim & Stephen

There aren’t many words that can accurately describe this weekend for me. Kim and Stephen’s special day at The Granary at Valley Pike was more than I could have asked for! These two are such a special couple and the fact that I got to be a part of their day was such a […]

Hermitage Hill Farm Wedding | Alyse & Max

My double-header weekend kicked off with Alyse and Max’s wedding at Hermitage Hill, and it was the best day!! I love capturing weddings at venue’s where I’ve never been, but Hermitage has been at the top of my list for quite awhile now. Meeting with Alyse and Max before their wedding day was such a […]

Blue Mountain Brewery Wedding | Ali & Austin

I’m so excited to have photographed Ali and Austin’s special day at Blue Mountain Brewery in Afton, VA! The rainy weather was no match for these two, and I think you can tell from how they completely surrendered control and nailed their portraits in the midst of the rain. When I asked if it was […]

2019 Seniors | Marina & Esther

Senior season is my FAVORITE because this begins my busy season!! After months of not many sessions and, when people are brave enough to take photos in the cold, I realize how much I hate shooting in the winter months (I just need to invest in gloves, honestly). When Esther and Marina asked if I […]

WHY we're the perfect match

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth. Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the blind texts it is an almost unorthographic life One day however a small line of blind text by the name of Lorem Ipsum decided to leave for the far World of Grammar. The Big Oxmox advised her not to do so, because there were thousands of bad Commas, wild Question Marks and devious Semikoli, but the Little Blind Text didn’t listen. She packed her seven versalia, put her initial into the belt and made herself on the way.

Andrea brings out the natural beauty in whatever she photographs. Thanks to Andrea we will be able to relive our wedding day over and over."

"Andrea is so professional and detail-oriented, while still being fun, friendly, and loving.

Andrea is so professional and detail-oriented, while still being fun, friendly, and loving. She feels like she is your best friend as soon as you meet her! Throughout our wedding planning process, she sent a sweet little surprise gift box, a helpful photography planning guide, and she even made us a personalized ornament for our first Christmas! She goes above and beyond in everything she does.

"Her excitement about being our photographer was contagious."

From the first meeting, we knew Andrea was an experienced photographer who was also warm and bubbly, which is the perfect type of person to have around you on your wedding day. She was extremely helpful with answering any questions we had, and was very responsive. Andrea is incredibly organized and efficient. She captured the best moments and got all the shots we wanted without making it feel like the photography was taking over the day. Working with her was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend her!
