I think Morgan and Chuck couldn’t have made my 4AM alarm better. I spent the morning with these two walking around the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. and Old Town Alexandria capturing their engagement photos, and let me tell you, it was such a fun time. I didn’t even feel like I got less sleep than usual (it was probably the Starbucks though, let’s be honest).

I got to capture all THREE of my roommate’s/bestfriend’s graduation photos over the last few weeks, and I just can’t hold it together over here. *brb crying* Mallory, specifically, was one of the first people I met that I knew was going to EMU. We coincidentally showed up to the same “welcome to EMU” dinner […]

Abby’s two-part senior session was such a fantastic part of my week. I really love photographing people I know, because its inevitable that we’re constantly in conversation (about more things than just photos) during their session. This is such an exciting time of the year for Abby, for more than just graduation! This coming summer, […]

I loved capturing Yordanos’ graduation portraits last evening! It was an absolutely beautiful day to capture some senior photos, but I’m just completely honored that Yordanos asked me to photograph such an exciting time in her life. Although graduating is scary, there’s strength in knowing that hundreds of other peers will graduate with us.   […]

I am just absolutely OVERJOYED to have taken Lindsay’s graduation portraits. I’ve known this gal since we were in preschool. WHAT?! And now we’re about to graduate from college? We’ve gone through almost every stage of life together and I am just so blessed to have a best friend as amazing as Lindsay. She is […]

I cannot BELIEVE that Abby is graduating (or that I’m graduating either, is this real life?). It doesn’t seem like too long ago, we were celebrating our first year of college with a beach trip over the summer and taking photos on the beach. And now, we’re celebrating her final year of college. Abby was […]

I loved meeting Caitlyn for her graduation portraits! Traveling across Harrisonburg to go to JMU is always a fun time and venturing around the campus never gets old. One of my favorite things about graduation portraits is when they incorporate fun things into their images! Caitlyn and her BFF Emory both brought champagne & sparkles […]

I can’t believe it’s been a little over a year since Chrissy and I took her headshots! Capturing her grad photos today was just a nostalgic time for both of us, because we went ti similar spots that we did on JMU’s campus. Ah, one thing I adore about Chrissy is her bubbly personality. She […]

Senior season is my FAVORITE because this begins my busy season!! After months of not many sessions and, when people are brave enough to take photos in the cold, I realize how much I hate shooting in the winter months (I just need to invest in gloves, honestly). When Esther and Marina asked if I […]

It’s not everyday that you get to take your oldest sister’s maternity photos. And it’s not everyday that with every keystroke as I type this I have to hold in my excitement because I’m going to be an aunt SO SOON. I can’t exclaim how thankful I am that I get to be the one […]

I’ve never gotten the chance to photograph a couples senior session until TODAY! Andrea and Matt were an absolute joy to work with. These two have such an amazing relationship and they both have an insanely bright future full of laughs and love <3 Both Matt and Andrea are graduating from Slippery Rock University this […]
