If I could sum up John and Kendra’s wedding day into a few words it would be: WHAT AN ADVENTURE. Their Irons Mill Farmstead wedding was one for the books. Not only did these two have an adventure-themed wedding with chances of rain showers (that eventually never hit during the ceremony) but their honeymoon was a surprise destination to an unknown place. Johnny and Kendra have had their share of adventures separately, but there’s no doubt that this new adventure being officially certified besties for life will be their favorite one.
Between a BEAUTIFULLY choreographed dance to Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran and lots of talk about love and blending a family “officially” (even though they’ve been blended since Johnny entered their lives), it was a beautiful, emotional day.
I loved the intentionality behind Kendra’s bouquet, the decorations to honor the ones they lost along the way, and the different adventure-themed trinkets around the reception area (like the little plane and globe cookies — both adorable and so on-theme).
“What is life without one grand adventure?”
Johnny and Kendra,
