I think Morgan and Chuck couldn’t have made my 4AM alarm better. I spent the morning with these two walking around the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. and Old Town Alexandria capturing their engagement photos, and let me tell you, it was such a fun time. I didn’t even feel like I got less sleep than usual (it was probably the Starbucks though, let’s be honest).

Mt. Jackson, VA Engagement Session | Sam & Ethan

Filed in:

It’s not everyday that I get to work with couples who drive THREE HOURS for their engagement session with me. It was an absolute honor to work with Sam and Ethan yesterday, and I SO enjoyed getting to know them (amongst the rain and weird umbrella poses :P) Although Meems Bottom Covered Bridge wasn’t our first choice for their session, I’m so happy we chose it! The rain and fog were beautiful additions to a gorgeous field/area in general.

Sam and Ethan,

I’m so grateful you took time out of your busy schedules to come to Harrisonburg for the afternoon. Thank you so incredibly much for your understanding, cooperation, and optimism as we navigated the rain, puddles, and some muddy fields 🙂 I can’t wait for you to see your final gallery, but for now, enjoy your sneak peek, you two!!
