I think Morgan and Chuck couldn’t have made my 4AM alarm better. I spent the morning with these two walking around the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. and Old Town Alexandria capturing their engagement photos, and let me tell you, it was such a fun time. I didn’t even feel like I got less sleep than usual (it was probably the Starbucks though, let’s be honest).
Natalie and Tim’s Newport News, VA wedding kicked off 2019 wedding season in an amazing way! In case you missed their Williamsburg, VA engagement session, you can check it out here!
Although most of the day was spent dodging rain drops, the sun finally appeared just in time for portraits with the happy couple. I’m always looking to improve my veil shots and Natalie had the PERFECT veil to test out some new ones (special thanks to her for the suggestion at the last minute :P)
Spending the day with these two and their friends + family was such a blessing. I loved being able to get to know both families and their guests just a little bit more. Being a wedding photographer means so much more when you have guests that pose such welcome and hospitality when meeting you — I absolutely adored the conversations I got to have + people I met!
Natalie and Tim,
It has been such a pleasure getting to know you both over the last few months. I can’t believe it’s been so long since we took your engagement photos in Williamsburg! I am so, incredibly excited to see where God takes you both. Between Newport News, Georgia, and Italy, clearly you have an entire fanbase waiting to cheer you on, love you, and support you through anything you do. I hope you love your sneak peek of your wedding photos and can’t wait to show you the final gallery!!
