I think Morgan and Chuck couldn’t have made my 4AM alarm better. I spent the morning with these two walking around the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. and Old Town Alexandria capturing their engagement photos, and let me tell you, it was such a fun time. I didn’t even feel like I got less sleep than usual (it was probably the Starbucks though, let’s be honest).
I loved Alyse and Max’s sunset engagement session at The Lake at Cedar Hill Saturday afternoon! These two drove a long way (like more than 2 hours) to have their engagement session in Harrisonburg. Needless to say, I am absolutely honored to be the one that gets to capture both their engagement photos & wedding day!! May can’t come soon enough! <3
Alyse and Max were so understanding when I unintentionally dragged them through the muddy fields + grass, and even laughed at most, if not all, of my jokes, but especially after had I pick some thorns out of my hair when doing anything for that one photo 😛 #photoglife
Alyse’s ring is SO special, and not just because it’s absolutely gorgeous. Alyse’s parents gave Max the gemstone of her grandmother’s ring, and now it’s the center of that gorgeous jewel on her finger!! It honestly melted my heart that such a special part of Alyse’s family is going to be carried within their marriage forever.
Alyse and Max,
I am so thankful you two spent a lot of your Saturday traveling to Harrisonburg so we can capture these. I truly had a wonderful time meeting you both and walking around this beautiful venue! I absolutely cannot wait until your special day in May and hope you love your sneak peek. Thanks again, guys!
